I didn’t have to take English proficiency tests and I got a recognized qualification in the country on which I’m going, and in a closely related occupation to my main occupation (economist), without even having stepped on New Zealander soil. It’s fabulous considering that as a certified bookkeeper I’ll be more likely to have a good initial insertion in the kiwi job market. Thanks for that!

The Bookkeeping Course i took surpassed my expectations. The subjects are relevant and easy to understand. Plus the guidance you get from their expert Tutors wgich helps a lot in passing the Assessments. I would highly recommend Career Academy not only for those who wants to shift into a new career path, as well as to those who wants to upgrade and update their skills. More power to Career Academy.

I wish I had started early and that is the hardest with online learning. But the upside of online learning means you can start and stop at any time and can fit in around working full time and life and that super convenient. Not really, the only think I would change for myself would be starting as soon as I had signed up. But initially was overwhelmed by what I had untaken that it paralyzed me from starting altogether

The best part of studying on line was that I could work through the course at my own pace anywhere I wanted – One assignment that I had to redo, I found it a bit difficult to fix and resubmit. I think the instructions need to be a bit clearer on how to make the changes and resend.

Some of the videos would not work for me. The tutor suggested using chrome so I did and they still didn't work, I tried different computers but still no luck so i just moved on without them. I enjoyed the course and probarbly would have done another one but without the credits it does not seem worth while.

As I am looking into doing a vet nursing degree next year and wanted to do a certificate in animal health with out spending too much money in case I found out during the degree that this isnt what I actually want to be doing. There isnt many other places that offer a course like this one and I am glad I went through careers academy for it, this gave me great insight on what is expected in vet nursing and I really enjoyed it, learned so much from this course as well. Nothing, everything was set out easily enough to understand and all the tutors were so nice and helpful.

Speaking with the representative at the Mall seemed really helpful Ease of navigating through the website. i.e. not having to scroll back down to the topic you are currently completing every time.

Flexibility to be able study when I am up to it, and the payment options (not the mention the price) of the course were ideal to my circumstances I would like to see more of the physical (anatomical) structure of the most common animals (Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Horses) included in this course I would just like to say a big thank you to Sam Healey and Kate Fasher for their ongoing support, their quick response to the multitude of questions I sent their way, and their constructive feedback throughout both of the courses that I have completed so far

I chose to do this course to learn more about first aid for my pets. I feel I already knew much of the content when it came to dogs. I found the wording from a couple of the questions to be confusing, could have meant a couple of different things.

You stood out more from other websites and academies. More info regarding psychology or more info in the PDF version regarding the questions we had to answer as I had to google quite a lot of answers. The tutors were great help and very much appreciated.

Spotted an ad in the community paper from a book-keeping company saying that one of their staff had just completed the certificate in book-keeping via Career Academy so I looked you up on line. It was good and quite a nice way to study with only the one deadline being the end of the 6 months instead of numerous ones throughout the course. Stress free If new to on line learning it would be nice to have more information on how to go about resubmitting assignments so as not to resubmit the same one

I think The Career Academy personally stood out for me when I was online and searching for a course in animal care , and to honest it was the only one out of three that actually got back to me to provided detail to how I can get started with online learning. I think my biggest thought would be towards the quizzes , if after the allowed attempts if still not able to get correct answer , it be helpful to have the answer shown for learning purposes and knowledge intake . Other than that I started to find them fun , which is different for me as I normally freak out and get scared doing quizzes and assignments. I found that for myself this course was prefect , I needed a starting point and a chance to take a step in the right direction . Due to work related injuries I have had to look into different job and career choices. I have found that not only that this course has given the insight of the area I wish to be in the future , I have found that this has also taught me in how to apply knowledge that I know or have learnt throughout the course on to paper and in writing , which was a major step for me and to what Im use too . The course notes provided information in which I either didnt know or never had the full details and understanding of in that area . As I worked through this course It got me thinking more in depth about what I need to know and learn to take my next step . I would like to say thanks too the tutors and the feed back on the assignments as I found that they will add information that I found really helpful to further my knowledge , I also found that a lot of questions that I had to ask actually got answered in the feed back and extra input . Over all this course has boosted my confidents and got me wanting to learn more .

I chose this course for the price and flexibility – A lot of this course was based on research you had to complete yourself. It would be really good if the reading material gave you the information needed to complete the questions. You will always need to do your own research but i think more info is needed in the reading material.

I think the course is awesome and tutor is amazing. I love how easy the website is to use and being able to pay the course off week to week especially with being a solo mum. And with working 10.5 hours a week it’s hard to afford a payout fr a course too, so glad I came across career academy.

Kaitlyn Champion – Pet and Animal Care Tutor

After getting her degree in Zoology and Animal Science Kaitlyn spent time in South Africa studying Cheetahs, as well as time in Zanzibar studying the impact that tourism has on Bottlenose and Humpback dolphins. Now she’s taking what she learnt there and is passionate about passing it on to all her enthusiastic Animal and Pet Care students at The Career Academy. Fortunately, online learning means that none of our students have to get too up close and personal with a hungry cheetah.
In her free time, Kaitlyn spends her time trying to wrangle her Great Dane puppy, and is also in the Australian Army Reserves – but she doesn’t know which is a tougher job.
